Director of Development
Seema Badar is a highly accomplished professional with a strong background in nonprofit fundraising and community engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Development Manager at the American Cancer Society and Development Coordinator for the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) SFBA, Seema brings extensive experience and expertise to her role as the Director of Development at Secure Justice.
In her capacity as the Senior Development Manager at the American Cancer Society, Seema plays a pivotal role in leading successful fundraising campaigns. Her strategic planning, donor cultivation, and relationship-building skills significantly contribute to the organization's mission of fighting cancer and supporting patients and their families.
Seema's commitment to intersectional advocacy is demonstrated through her role as Development Coordinator for CAIR SFBA. In this position, she effectively raises funds to empower and protect the civil rights of American Muslims, promoting inclusivity within society.
Seema holds a Certified Fundraising Management Certification (CFRM) from the Indiana School of Philanthropy, highlighting her expertise in fundraising best practices. Additionally, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of social dynamics and community needs.
